Following a week-long trial, the jury found Mr. Chetson’s client “not guilty” of all charges – First and Second Degree Murder, and felon in a possession of a firearm.  Mr. Chetson’s client was released from custody later that day.

Selma Police investigated the murder which occurred on Preston Ave in Selma, in the late evening hours at a “social club” where between 50 and 100 people were gathered.
