Insurance premiums are the most expensive cost for most drivers.A traffic ticket - if not properly handled - can cause rates to jump. North Carolina's Safe Driver Incentive Program (SDIP) permits insurance companies to raise premiums if drivers have been convicted of certain traffic offenses.
The Chetson Firm's lawyers work to keep rates down by negotiating for reductions in charges with the District Attorney in each of the counties - Wake, Durham, Harnett, Chatham, and Johnston counties.
Sometimes we'll recommend you complete Community Service in exchange for a reduction. Other times we'll recommend you complete a Safe Driving Course.

A Prayer for Judgment Continued - also known as a PJC - is a legal technique used to keep traffic violations from affecting your insurance rates or your right to drive.A household may use one PJC every 3 years for insurance purposes.
If you haven't used a PJC recently, we may recommend using a PJC to keep your rates down.
The Chetson Firm's lawyers may ask the judge for a PJC to help your case and save you money.
PJC's are not always available. PJCs are not available for certain offenses: for instance, DWIs and high rates of speed.
But PJCs are available for many other offenses, including standard speeding tickets, school zone violations, Driving After Consuming under the Age of 21 (Baby DWI).
