Shoot a cyclist in the head, get 120 days in jail in Asheville, NC

I was unaware that motorist on cyclist violence was a problem.  (A cyclist was killed near my home in Apex over the summer, but that was apparently an accident.)

News out of Asheville, NC about Charles Diez, a motorist who pulled out a gun and shot a cyclist int he head in front of the cyclist’s 3 year old daughter.  Diez was sentenced to 120-days in jail, which is a remarkably lenient sentence.
