Unlike North Carolina – which bans the use of a cell phone by a driver only if the driver is under 18 years of age – California instead bans the use of a cell phone by all drivers.
That hasn’t stopped Maria Shriver, the Governator’s wife, from repeatedly being filmed by paparazzi yapping away on her cell phone while driving her car.
TMZ, a celebrity gossip website, has the goods on Maria: a video where she spots the photographer, and tries to hide the cell phone to pretend she wasn’t using it.
